I'm looking for advise on barriers for my raised beds and herb bed to prevent the plants from getting burnt from the wind (which we get a lot of where I live) and my new dog!

I was going to use sheep fence to keep the dog out or shade netting to protect from the wind but as my other half said neither are particularly attractive looking and maybe there are other options out there?

anyone got any suggestions for me please?
