Well, I dont know if this is the right place for it, but Delaney and I have
been up for a while - it seems 50% of my garden manure production plan
has other issues,
Delilah, may well produce an addition to the family tonight
He seems genuinely concerned and intrested - he ate a
julliet y romeo cigar earlier.
fingers crossed - hope all goes well- we have had kids,
calves and lambs on this farm - but never a baby donkey
Its after 2 AM -I want to sleep, but am super excited

Any news ? We'll all be waiting for photos ! There's something very special about donkeys, you are lucky to have them.
Hope all went well and you are all having a long lie-in this morning.

False alarm, according to Delilahs owners - who are real stockmen, when you get a new moon sometimes animals will go into a false labour, anything up to 3 months ahead of the due date, so in two weeks I will need to sit up through the night again, just in case

How funny.....just when I was wondering about Delilah this morning too........ !
I believe donkeys have a long gestation period, so that doesn't help matters I suspect. We'll all be waiting for the birth announcement when it finally happens.
