Our lawn is generally in good condition and for the most part pleasing to the eye. However for the past two weeks we have a fairly substantial showing of mushrooms in different shapes and sizes.
Where do these come from, it's the first year we have had them,I assume they are harmless and have left them as is.

The usual idea is that there is some rotting organic matter playing host to this fungi, possibly old roots.
We have covered this on the forum before, so have a look at this bigyin.........Fungii on my lawn and i dont live in dingle
