I bought a Weeping Cherry tree over 4 years ago it has never bloomed it is still growing but it never buds or blooms in Spring. There is a sucker on it the last 2 years I cut it off when it gets too big. Would this be what is stopping the tree from flowering if so, how to I kill the sucker without damaging the tree. It is about a foot in height background I love it to flower next Spring |

The sucker won't prevent the cherry from flowering but it is not doing it any good.
Remove it with a sharp secateurs, loppers, etc, as close to the base as you can.
The reason for no flowers is more likely to be bird damage if the tree itself is growing ok. |
