Hello all...
I've just put in four new raised beds on my plot and the weeds in the top-soil are starting to flourish.
Would it be OK to spray them with Round-up (or something similar) before dressing them with manure for over winter?
Thanks in advance.... |

if they are annual weeds then they will die off over the Winter so there is no need to get rid of them by spraying. Roundup is good for treating perennial weeds. You will need plenty foliage and the temperature needs to be conducive to growth. The end of September is about the latest time for treating with Roundup.
