Your very own swallows I presume, Summer?
Haven't seen any here yet. BUT I heard the cuckoo this morning for the first time and we've had a family of blackbirds feeding in the garden. Like Daddy Mammy and three brown bairns. By de eck they were fast off the mark. The starlings and sparrows are still collecting stuff for their nests.

We have swallows on north tipp. And on a side note - every year on April 1st, I take out a whistle to Portumna forest park, and play cuckoo songs as I walk...

Wonderful photos, summer.
Our swallows returned on April 12th and flew straight into the shed and the porch, where they nested last year. It's wonderful to think they flew all the way to South Africa ......and back.
