hi,
i was wondering if its possible for a watermelon plant and a butternut squash plant can cross polinate?
most of my sqaush look normal and a couple are more melon shape but the colour of squash?
none of the watermelons have developed.
they have been grown very close to each other in a greenhouse. |

it is the seed from the cross pollinated plants that would be different, a squash seed will produce a squash plant and a squash fruit .
