My indoor Cycad, which I bought for a song in Tesco some years ago has, for the first time, generously decided to sprout some new leaves. Just as well, as the old ones were beginning to look a bit tired of hanging about in my under-heated living room for the past few years. My question is, should I now cut off the old leaves? Will this help the new ones to come on? Will they naturally die off anyway once the new ones are set?

Thanks
Dermot

Oh the unfurling leaves of cycads are so pleasing.... i wouldn't cut the other leaves yet, let new one develop more...
