Hi Boland, what a great site...what sort of stuff have you ordered from them ? The postage costs would be high for most gardening things I would assume ? |

oddly enough I ordered mostly kitchen stuff and lights - which I would vouch will last forever but thave ordered small garden tools - was astonished at the high quality but was wondering at the value of the ordering the larger items as opposed to just going to the local garden centre, postage wasn't huge (from Germany) but then they were smallish items, I've my eye on a few larger tools and garden items that are getting ever more irrestible each week, even the cloths are excellent quality my mate tells me - German sizes though so beware.
I was just wondering if anyone had experience if the site apart from me and had other opinions as opposed to my worth ever cent. _________________ The rainy part of Cork |

I would actually be more of a fan of buying local, Boland. I'd much prefer to hear you talk about the quality stuff you got from your nearby supplier and the rapport you have established with them, gaining sound advice and help. Surely we have quality equipment here in Ireland that you don't need to order off the internet from Germany? What happens if something goes wrong with any of your equipment or tools?
Just my 2cents though... |

While I try and buy local the hardware here they don't always have what I need and the next closest local well... if I have to waste half a Saturday and €20 in diesel to go and get it ...
I was just curious to know if anyone had had experience buying tools online. _________________ The rainy part of Cork |
