when is the best time to take cuttings & can I plant straight into the ground ? or do I need rooting powder..Thanks in advance.

That stuff is everywhere for a reason, if you wait till all the leafs are gone and just stick them straight into the ground in late autumn or early spring, I dont think you will have any problems!

fushias are easy to propagate and if you take 4" cuttings now they should be well established before autumn and survive the winter in a sheltered position
