Hi,

I recently replaced a set of swings in the garden with a new, heavier wooden set. The old set was light enough to move around the garden and prevent the area under them from getting worn down.

However, as I cannot move the new ones easily, I am looking to put a 'stronger' grass under the area so that it doesn't turn into mud patches due to tiny feet pushing themselves on the swings.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a solution?

Creeping red Fescue or Sheeps fescue are excellent and so also is Bent grass. They need to be well established before being used.
