Not sure where to post this, so I'll just put it here.

Walking up the lane with my kids this afternoon, I noticed huge clumps of scarlet pimpernel, which I've always adored. Much as I was tempted to grub up big handfuls for my garden, I restricted myself to admiring them in situ, came home and had a quick Google for scarlet pimpernel seeds. I somehow ended up at this website:

http://www.alchemy-works.com/seed_index.html

I am not about to take up witchcraft and replace my broad beans with monkshood and wolfsbane, but I have to admit that this person seems to have a tremendous knowledge of the folklore attached to plants and quite clearly loves gardening. Definitely a witch in the original sense of the word.

Explore and enjoy!

Oh these dear humans.

I thought to myself, what next, Biblical seeds?

Low and behold, I regretted googling it

http://www.seedman.com/bible.htm

Confused

As long as the plants benefit, what more can we ask for....

Biblical seeds... You'd have thought with all that "Garden of Eden" business, they'd have come up with something better than nettles and a bunch of grass!
