A garden design partnership was among the winners at this years “Garden Heaven” show 2006 held in Punchestown, Co. Kildare.
I was one half of that partnership along with the landscape company Terra Garden Ireland based in Claregalway, Co. Galway.
In the face of stiff competition, the garden won bronze for a design to appease and rejuvenate the five senses.
Sight, touch, sound, smell and taste.
The winning garden combined wood, stone, earth and planting with two unique water features to capture the attention and the imagination of the judges and the visiting public.
Among the judges was renowned horticulturalist Dermott O’Neill from RTE and the “Garden Heaven” magazine.
Terra Garden Ireland offer outdoor and indoor living concepts for all areas. Their designs encompass everything from patio gardens to areas as diverse as health & beauty spas, apartments and offices.
In fact, they were the first to introduce a complete range of Malaysian-themed garden displays and features into Ireland.
The all-important award, displayed by one of the unique water features.

Bugs, from what I've seen of your work you are in the running yourself.
Its always nice to get an award from your peers, but at the end of the day these are show piece gardens.
The average house owner will often want something less elaborate. |

GPI your design got a small mention in the HLI magazine ( Horticultural Landscape Ind .)
"Neo Nusantara , inspired by eastern philosophy, was a rectilinear space accented with dark wood, a pergola structure and overflowing urns ." Congrats again
