i was looking at seed prices on an irish site(dont know if im allowed to name them) and i saw these seeds Runner bean "Enorma" euro 1.44 and then Runner bean "Enorma" organic euro 1.90. my question is what is the difference between the seeds, also does organic not relate to how you grow the crop and not what it says on the seed packet. i could be totaly wrong here but it seems to me that if they call the seed organic thats just an excuse to raise prices, also if i use the ordinary seed and raise the crop organicly am i deluding myself.

i dont know of any difference between organic and inorganic seed. it is how you grow the crop that matters. However some varieties are known to grow better under organic conditions. Such varieties are often siold at higher prices.
