Hi
can anyone help, I have tried twice to grow honeyberry from seed, they have been well watered, every second day, and in peat free compsot in the greenhouse.
What am I doing wrong ?  |

Some seeds have particular needs to break their dormancy - I tried research Honeyberries requirements (didn't come up with much...) but found this:
Propagation
Seed - best sown as soon as it is ripe in a cold frame. Stored seed requires 2 months cold stratification[113] and should be sown as soon as possible in a cold frame. When they are large enough to handle, prick the seedlings out into individual pots and grow them on in the greenhouse for at least their first winter. Plant them out into their permanent positions in late spring or early summer, after the last expected frosts.
Also, stumbled upon the fact they are dioecious, requiring both male and female plants for fertilization.
