yes,fascinating,i pick them up and take them to the bottom of my garden where theres a small stream and put then on the other side,.....they cant swim ,can they? |

Where I live, as a kid in Toronto, the Italian supermarkets used to sell them as escargot. I would pocket a few and put them in a bowl of water as pets. Next day, they would have escaped and ended up on the ceiling. As we lived in rent at the time and weren't allowed pets, it was good secret entertainment. Of course they were let go. |
