Asking all users who to post to this thread when the see a Met Eireann http://www.met.ie/default.asp Blight Warning.

Any user who wished to be notified automatically could set up to receive an email when posted.

If it is kept to official warnings only, then it would work well.

If you have a question about BLIGHT or any other topic, please join another thread or start a new thread.

I will kick off with today's warning.

Conditions favouring the spread of potato blight will develop in most parts of the country early on Saturday and further blight spells will occur up to Wednesday of next week. There will be opportunities for spraying today, Friday, and again on Sunday.

Conditions favouring the spread of potato blight will occur from Monday evening until late Tuesday in many parts of the country.

Weather conducive to the spread of potato blight will occur at times from Monday through to Thursday of next week mainly in Munster and Leinster. There will be opportunities for spraying today Friday and in midland and eastern areas for a time on Saturday.

Weather conditions favouring the spread of potato blight will develop in many parts of the country over the coming weekend and will occur at times next week also. There will be opportunities for spraying today, Thursday, and tomorrow, Friday.
