Hi everyone. Hope you are enjoying the gorgoeus weekend in Ireland.
I dont know if this is neccessarily a "pest" but does anyone know what is leaving small foamy deposits about 15cm to 20cm (and lower on a few occasions) on a wide variety of leaves and grasses. I presume its some type of egg or is something to do with something's reproductive process. Is it a good guy or a bad guy? Its slightly sticky to the touch and washes off with a light hosing but I try and root for the beneficial bugs (excuse the pun) in my garden and want to try and leave it if it doesnt do damage.
thanks |

thanks James, I've just been out in tunnel and several foamy bits on my strawberries, was just about to post question. Curiousity got the better of me and I had to investigate one piece and found a little green fella - if they are relatively harmless then I'll leave them be - I Ilike their name its fitting _________________ "L'homme est né libre, et partout il est dans les fers." |
