Here's my embarrassing admission and it relates to the birds and the bees!!! Well more the bees. I went and bought an apple tree. One apple tree. After two years of no fruit my local nursery man had to contain himself trying to explain how they pollinate and that it takes TWO or at least a self-pollinating tree which I had never heard of. Ah well. Live and learn!!
