Hi,
This is my second year growing anything and I have about 12 tomato plants growing successfully at the moment. Last year I let them grow on without pinching the top, which was a disaster but a lesson learned. Researching for this, I understand that once 4 branches have grown on the plants I should pinch out the growing tip (or 6 branches if in a greenhouse)? Almost al my plants have now got 4 branches but the plants themselves are obly about 12 or 15 inches tall. Is this ok or do I let them get bigger. I will be putting them into the final big size pots today.
Baby Corn:
I got a pack of seeds for baby corn and successfully germinated them indoors. They are about 6 inches tall now and I have transferred them to bigger pots into the greenhouse. Howevere, I lost the packaging that came with them and I never grew them before. Can anyone help me and tell me how they grow, how big and any other care tips for them.
Thanks |
