Hello. I am new and have been "new" too gardening for a year. I've been struggling to get out of "new" status but I cannot seem to get a grasp of the timing and creativity involved with gardening. I am learning a lot about bugs, though.

I enjoy nature very much and cannot prevent myself from trying to garden. I have minimal ideas because I'm not very creative, but I know that something needs to be done to improve the grounds at the church I go to. I am one of those types of people who's house is becoming overrun with plants because I cannot find it in me to throw away a clipping when I know it is likely to root if I give it a chance.

I guess I am the worst candidate for gardening for these reasons: I have little to no money, I have very little time, and I have very little creativity. Creativity I guess will come with the inspiration found in other people's gardens. I hope to get some ideas from members here and a lot of much needed knowledge too. I look forward to getting a lot of advice and seeing a lot of pictures!

Welcome. We're all beginners, but it's more fun than being an expert who never gets a surprise.

Best of luck from another beginner!
