Hi All,
Myself and the partner got an allotment in October and after mucho digging and preparing last year and over the last few weeks. We have a crop of spuds down (roosters) so fingers crossed they grow!!!
Polytunnel went up this week so weekend is earmarked for digging out a bed in there and planting little seedlings.
Fingers crossed it all works out but I am hoping that my many questions will be answered by joining this group !!
Having alot of fun though !!!
Thanks, _________________ Is that a weed??

Hi and welcome to the best gardening site on the web! You're so lucky to get an allotment, nothing available in my corner of the county. Best of luck with it ,but I'm sure with all the friendly help you'll get on here it'll be a roaring success.

Thanks all !! And don't worry, we are calling this our practice year !! I will be planting and see what happens.
We were very lucky to get the allotment. We were talking about it and my partner mentioned it to a friend of his who announced that his brother was setting up a load of them now he was finished his agriculture course!!! Its super and Garth is great with advice!!! Although he nearly hurt himself laughing when I asked when the colliflower would be "done" that was an experiment from last year that did not go well.....!!!!
Actually I think he has some left cause he is only getting going with it, if anyone in my area is interested I could check it out for you. _________________ Is that a weed??
