If a Cypress tree is felled and then fed through a wood chipper, can it be used straight away for composting, or should it be left in a heap for a time to leech out. _________________ Paul. |

woody material can be composted, but would need a good bit of nitrogen, as it's mainly going to be 'brown' recycling material, and needs 'green' material to balance out. |

Thanks, I'm aware for this but its the makeup of the cypress wood that I'm concerned about. I think its quite acidic, and would lower the p.h of my compost. _________________ Paul. |
