Hi all
As an attempt to emerge from gardening hibernation, I've just pruned my two rose bushes (a "glad tidings" floribunda & a miniature) and unfortunately some of my cuts are a bit jagged (well, a GOOD bit jagged ). As there aren't any visible buds beneath the cuts to enable me to cut again, is there anything I can do to treat the cuts to prevent disease setting in? Thanks in advance. |

if I was you I would trim any jagged edges with razor sharp pocket knife. Worked well for me in the past after the wife used a not so sharp clippers earlier.. |
