Is there a birdwatch at all? For example taking note of what birds come into the garden to have some idea of numbers across the country? _________________ Please excuse my ignorance I'm new to this. |

Yes there is.....a winter garden bird survey has been going on for years and it's great fun to do. Check out the Birdwatch Ireland site: http://www.birdwatchireland.ie/
It runs from December to the end of February and is a wonderful way to learn more about birds......
You don't have to join the charity to do the survey, but if you join you get lots of information through their magazine and your money goes towards all their good work. |
