Hi everyone. Iast year I got my first garden so I am very excited to get dug in. Today I got a surprise when I dug over my parsnip patch from last summer and found 3 large parsnips. Dinner tonight.!!
I am going to give raised beds a go. cant wait. |

Foxylock
Everything, but I'm going to start with the basics. I have the potatoes chitting and the broadbeans sprouting. I'm just going to keep trying everything and see what does well in my soil. I love courgettes and have 4 different types of tomatoes to try. I also think purple sprouting brocolii is a great crop as you have it in winter although this year the snow caused the plant to wilt.
Cant wait till summer. |

Hi.
I heard on the radio a month ago a guy from NZ who predicted weather by sunspots. He said we were due 2 weeks good weather starting May 24th and then 2 more weeks a month later exactly. Not too hopeful but on the bright side I havent had much use of the water butt so far. |

If it's the same guy I'm thinking of, he predicted a fantastic summer for us last year. Anyone remember last summer ? I don't
