hi,iam new to gardening,my question for this week is "What is a coldframe?"
ihave seen on some packets of seeds " after starting seeds in a p/t or greenhouse then place out in a coldframe for a week " anythanks in advance,stephen _________________ A Dub living in the country side, with a garden that i want to put to some use! |

Hi Stef
The easiest way to describe a coldframe is, a miniature greenhouse. It can simply be a box made of glass, perspex or covered in plastic. They come in all shapes and sizes and are unheated, hence the name coldframe ! Great for giving seedlings a start. |
