Hello All,
I've just started into my second year looking after a small front lawn and moderate sized urban back garden.
To try to avoid some of my novice mistakes last year, I think registering here may not be a bad idea!
I'm already banging my head against a wall about my front lawn/flower bed, I let it go somewhat towards the end of last year and have now started about rectifying it...
I have 2 pics I'd like to post, should I go ahead here or down in the lawn section? (I'm really looking for guidance on the flower bed side of things! Although my lawn has really never picked up either) |

Hello
This is a Fantastic site to help Thanks
I had a front garden 7m x 5m
I dug all the grass out of the lawn(not good) saved as much clay put down mypex then some pea gravel made a 2m circle in the center flower bed1
Then collected rocks for the edging all the 2mkcircle and round a U shaped egde border bed 2
and my better half picked the flowers and thats how i started to love gardening
Mixed fire ash in with the compost to give a boost all thats free is good
Happy Gardening
