Hi, everyone, I've just found this Forum today and I'm really looking forward to receiving advice and tips because even though I potter around in the garden I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to much more than cutting the grass and keeping the garden looking "nice" Sad

I have pyrecanta ( not sure of the spelling) growing on my walls and every Spring and Autumn I have to keep it in check by chopping down the larger branches shooting skywards. I notice Lidl have a 2500 watt shredder on half price special ( from €119.99 to €59.99)at their new store in Cobh and I wonder if it would be strong enough.

automatic overload protection
max branch cutting 40mm
auto reverse function
auto on/off
240V - 50Hz

Regards,

Moira

i've never been too impressed with any of the power tools bought in aldi or lidl, but i do know someone who got a log splitter from one of them and is happy with the purchase.

Thanks for your input M.K. but you'll understand if I pass up on buying log splitting tools!!!...unless there is such a thing as a hands free automatic log chopper Cool Smile
