| I planted a some buxus plants about 3/4 weeks ago and I have noticed that some of them are starting to turn yellow. Some leaves turn brown and drop off. Any idea of a cause? I had planted Senecio cineraria 'Silver Dust' in the same area before hand and they did very well. |

| it may be caused by summer drought the first stage is wilting which is reversible if watered promptly the next stage is browning and then leaf drop which is fatal in evergreens watering is practical with newly planted plants or if the roots are shallow the long term aswer is to improve the water holding capacity of the soil mulch in spring hope this helps and not to late . |
