found this flower by the roadside,its about 2+ft tall,long spindely stems,lightly scented,small pink flowers on stalk,have tried to download more pics but took ages just to do this one

went back had a closer look,its about 4 foot high and was in a ditch with a stream behind it,the stalks on the bigger ones were red,will try to download better pics,managed to download before cant think what i`m doing wrong,

From the picture, it looks like Redshank, a weed which is a member of the Dock family but it is hard to be sure on this evidence.

Also looks to me like it could be a species of Persicaria. A pretty vigorous ground covering perennial. A bit hard to see from photo though
