What trees - native or otherwise - will grow (and survive) in a very exposed coastal location in the West of Ireland? Soil is reasonable but may be deficient in lime. I have been advised that sycamore is about the only certainty but maybe there are others. |

Scots pine for sure. In fact it will like the lack of lime. |

Cordylines,no problem with wind or soil and evergreen,and will look great in those long dull cold winter months. |
