Hi All,
I have a 6ft wall in my garden that has 3 trellises slightly higher than the wall. I wanted ideally to have some type of all season thick climber, I like the idea of boston ivy, but is it all season?
Could anyone shed some light on the possabilities?. Really, what I want to acheive is something so think that Ill see neither the wall nor the trellis when its fully grown.
Many Thanks _________________ Chris |

hi chris
you have loads of options. however the boston ivy is deciduous. a similar climber that is evergreen is cissus striata though the leaves are a lot smaller.also 'halliana' is an evergreen variety of honeysuckle.pyracantha is also a great climber as is muelenbeckia.you could look at these on google images.
hope this is some help. good luck with the planting |
