hi,i was so surprised the other day when i went to discard a bunch of cut yellow crysanths i`d bought in lidls
they`d grown roots,i had put a drop cola in the vase to prolong their life,seems it was what they wanted
they now are in a pot waiting for next year to see if the grow on,pure amateur that i am i dont know the flowering season for these,and a friend said the`d die as they are forced,we will see, |

these chrysanthemums probably were grown in Kenya or some part of Africa. They will grow here provided you can protect them from the frost over the Winter. They will grow throughout next Summer and in the Autumn will form buds and flowers in their natural season. They need long days to grow vegetatively (produce leaves and stems) and then as the days begin to get shorter the flowerbuds are initiated. They may need to be sheltered in a glasshouse if their flowering runs into October.
