Hi
I was asked today how to get rid of both Japanese Knotweed and Dogweed from the garden. I was sort of OK with the Knotweed but fell at the first hurdle with Dogweed, having never heard of it.
Any ideas about how to control it (or even to tell me what it is?)
cheers

Hi Inishindie, I found this website very interesting for dealing with invasive species in Ireland. It contains a lot of information about all types of habitats and all types of plants, mammals and fish. I'm sure i saw information about Dogweed and Knotweed in the 'Terrestrial' section. Hope its of help.
