I got the piles of topsoil levelled out on the lawn a week and a half ago, the digger driver did an excellent job, he advised me that the best thing to do afterwards would be to go over it with a land leveller (Pulled behind a tractor), anyway, while that did a very good job of getting rid of the humps and hollows, the tractor has really compacted the topsoil . Not sure what to do next, it's a big lawn so digging by hand isn't an option, should I get an agri rotavator and go over it again with the tractor, this would rotavate a few inches deep, or should I hire a smaller rotavator which would rotovate about an inch deep, or are there any other options? |

Its probably best , if you can get it , to use the tractor and rotavator , Its mid Sept so get it done as soon as possible

I was thinking that allright, mind you with the way the weather is going I'll have to try and get hold of a semi aquatic tractor. |
