I am planting a wind break and putting in some Chamaecyparis " Stardust". I would like to know what distance apart should I plant them? Rolling Eyes

Plant them 18-24ins at spacings. They need not be planted as far apart as the much larger leylandii.

Thanks. Is that from stem to stem? The trees that I have are about 2 1/2 / 3 feet high and possible 1 foot wide.

Yep. Plant spacings are usually given stem to stem rather than edge to edge due to the varying spread of branches at different times of their life.
