Do you want to feature in an exciting new TV series, Glorious Gardens?
UTV is looking for plots of land in need of a makeover.

It could be a rundown garden in a school or nursing home, a youth club or even your own street.

Hosting the series will be Irish gardening expert Eugene Higgins.

In Glorious Gardens, Eugene will embark on a challenging project unique to Northern Ireland - to transform a tired, dull garden into the one of his dreams, inspired by his favourite National Trust gardens.

Each programme will feature one garden in desperate need of some love and attention.

Eugene will first establish how the folk who use their particular plot will benefit when he turns it from an overgrown garden into an overwhelming one.

Then, for inspiration, he will visit a National Trust property where he will meet the gardeners and tour the grounds, investigating plants and features, and exchanging information and skills as he goes.

Back at the garden which Eugene is transforming, he will be explaining the process and the stages of recreating the features he has seen.

And at the end of the journey, Eugene will host a Glorious Garden party where he will unveil the new garden to its awaiting owners.

To apply to take part in the show, email tv@greeninc.tv

The closing date for applications is 21st August 2009.

Get moving folks. Very Happy
