Hi All,
Cabbagepatch here formally introducing myself..

Your help will be of great value i am sure.

Firstly i wish to know how to go about applying for a council allottment.
i am in the limerick city area and live in a treeless concrete jungle.!

I share an appartment block with about 27 "elderly"people.
I am hoping to find an allotment for them and try and organise the funds required to get them to and from this allotment. tools etc.

The main objective is a community type garden. to enjoy and also get us all out a bit more, rain, hail,or shine.

I have noticed some private allotments a bit pricey but facilities seem excellent.

I applied to limk city council but have not as of yet had a reply.

Can anybody out there enlighten me , on how best to proceed.
Thank you for your time

GreenAcre Allotments, Ballyvorheen, Cappamore, Co. Limerick

GreenAcre Allotments are set in the Scenic countryside of Murroe, in the foothills of Slieve Felimn, just 20 minutes from Limerick city.
