Has anyone used Hedera indoors? Can it be left to hang down from the top of the kitchen presses and will it attract bugs inside

My first foray into gardening was indoors in a really dark, dim north-facing flat in Birmingham. One of the few plants that could handle the conditions was Ivy so I had pots of them all over the place. They work well indoors especially somewhere they can hang. I never noticed any increase in bugs around it - but then , I like bugs Laughing Laughing Laughing
