howdy yawl
anyone know how to cross breed two different spuds. is it easy or hard?
can it be done by paint brushing pollen from one flower to another and getting seed from tomato looking pod? |

take the pollen from one flower(one variety) and transfer it to the other variety and after it has set seed save it. next spring sow the seed an let the seedling grow on until it produces a tiny tuber. After that has matured save it and grow it on the following year and it will produce a full sized tuber and who knows maybe a famous variety. it is very much a hit and miss job.
