Hi,
I need to get enough lawn seed to do about 2/3 of an acre, works out at about 134 KG, anyone know where I could get this where I'd get the best value? |

| Your local farmers co-op would be the best value, I would think. Just insure it is lawn grass seed sealed with the government harp. Most co-ops will sell a no.2 lawn seed which looks well green and takes some abuse without growing strong like a silage type grass. |

I thought that might be the case all right but I wasn't sure if they would do lawn seed and I wasn't overly keen on turning it into pasture. Laun seed in places like homebase is pretty expensive. |

Local co-op is the best . I live in Dublin ( the most expensive place on earth ) Anytime i go down the country I buy all my supplies in bulk in the farmers co-ops and the savings will usually pay for the cost of the diesel

Got sorted, 25Kg for €65, compared to about €30 for 5Kg elsewhere, Thanks again. |
