I pulled some beetroot at the weekend and cooked it as instructed in the vegetable expert book. After cooking it there was a strong musty smell from it and it tasted musty. It was only slightly bigger than a golf ball when I pulled it(like a child couldn't wait) . My garden is wet .If anyone could tell me or offer an opinion as to why it tasted musty I would be very grateful thank you
