I had a mixed fern plant in my bathroom but it died. I think it dried out even tho I watered and fed it regularly.Heat from the rad?
I got a new one and want to get water retaining crystals. My question is has anyone used them? Do you push them down through the soil? |

you mix it in to the soil
then water it
then plant in the soil/ compost
you must water the soil mixed with the crystal as the expand and can pop the plant out of the soil.
they are used a lot in hanging baskets |
