Hi, I bought red gooseberry plant in Aldi at weekend, said on sign "Patio Fruit" but instructions say to plant in ground. Is it possible to raise it in a container instead and if so what soil mix should I use and how big a container? any advice welcome. |

gooseberries can be grown in a container but you will need a lot of soil or compost as much as 10-12 cubic feet. I have seen one grown in an old wheel barrow with holes in the bottom to provide drainage.
