I am new to all this and am so happy with the carrots I have grown .I am wondering if I was to use some old windows to make a cold frame would it be okay to plant carrots in it? Also are there any other veg I could plant in cold frames as my brother has a few old windows which i could use if it was a worthwhile exercise _________________ To err is human to mess things up completely use a computer |

cold frames are very useful in the spring to raise soil temperatures, not much use now except to help a late crop of lettuce.
