Hello,
I want to plant some emerald n gold shrubs on a bank at the side of my garden, the bank is quite steep, and i was told that this shrub is goob for banks and ground cover. I want the plant to cover the bank. this is probably a stupid question, but should i plant the shrubs at the top of the bank and will it grow downwards, or should i plant it on the bottom of the bank and give it support as it grows upwards?
thanks for any help. |

I imagine you need to find out the eventual size of this particular euonymus and then plant them the appropriate distance apart so that they eventually meet up....they're not going to creep up or down, just grow to their full size, I presume...... |

It's not that kind of shrup as sive says. It grows wider than high, but not that much, depending on the size of the bank your going to need quite a few spaced at regular intervals right across as well as up and down.
