Hi All
Thought I would send out a quick hello to everyone. This site is very useful and I will be asking for plenty of help in the near future as I am preparing a site for my first polytunnel and I want to extend my veg patch as well.
Hope no one has had to much damage with the storms last night.

Welcome Sunnymount. That's a good name after last night's deluge!!!! No damage here in North Wexford as far as I know, but I certainly had a very disturbed night's sleep. The constant downpour was frightening, and I was very glad to be living on a hill, and nowhere near a river.......

You sound like a carbon copy of my better half....he can sleep through anything. The sun is out again this afternoon in Wexford, thank goodness and we certainly won't need to water anything for a while.

Sunnymount is a very old name for our farm which our family don't use any more.
Funnily enough the farm is mount on a hill which gets loads of sun, you can't get any more straight forward than that.
I have an problem with planning my veg garden if you would like to advice me. It's on the fruit and veg topic.

Welcome to the forum, our new tunnel is still standing but we do have fantastic shelter from the hedgerow.
