Did anyone go to the Festival in Springmount Garden centre over the weekend ?
It was a huge undertaking with crafts and food as well as gardening...and the weather behaved perfectly too. If it becomes an annual event, I think it will become a date to put on your calendar. Well done, Springmount.
Next time I'll go without the grandchildren!

I went with my sister to buy a plant and she didn't know it was on. It would have cost us €8 each to get in so we went back home. She is not a gardener.
There were alot of cars there and it looked very well organised so I hope it was successful. Kay

Well, that would certainly have made your plant rather expensive! But there were lots of special offers...two for the price of one kind of thing, and we had bought our tickets in advance for 5 euro each which was more reasonable.....
I think it all went off very well...it featured on last night's Nationwide.

Yes I did observe people going back to their cars loaded down with plants so I'll certainly look out for it next year.
I have the veg plot kinda sorted so I can focus on getting some order on the front of the house and I do love a bargain Very Happy
Kay
