Hi all,

As I am typing this mail a digger is levelling my garden getting ready to seed it hopefully by this weekend.
I am a first time garden owner but have dabbled with mixed success with potted plants.
Our garden is fairly big at about one third acre so I have a big blank canvas. I'm so glad i've found this site to help me get it right at the start.

Hi Crea! I'm a "newbie", too. Just joined yesterday, and I live in Western Colorado, USA. Came through Limerick last Sept. on our way to Shannon for our return flight home. As to your new garden, a wise friend of mine gave me this advice: "You can never have too many flowers." Happy Planning, Elaine

Thanks for the welcomes folks.
I'm pretty much a beginner so i'll probably be asking loads of basic questions.
Elaine - I can't believe you're posting from Colarado!! I'm assuming the weather is slightly different from here so i'm sure you'll have very different plants from alot of us. Don't forget to post some pics when you get underway with your garden.
